  1. Hi Year 2
I’m a school accountant who works in a primary school in Nottinghamshire. The home of Sherwood Forest and Robin Hood
    Happy blogging

  2. I’m a primary school teacher in North Yorkshire.
But I’m originally from South Yorkshire.
And my parents are from Nottinghamshire and London.
I’ve travelled around the world twice and enjoyed every minute of it.

  3. Hi – my name is Ms Sally and I am a teacher at UWCSEA in Singapore. I also teach 6 and 7 year olds. Looking forward to sharing in your learning. Oh – I am Australian and our school is in Singapore – so of course I live in Singapore not Australia.

  4. Hello
I am a Headteacher from Clitheroe (about 30mins drive away from you!)
I work in a primary school in a small town called Barnoldswick!
It’s lovely to read about your school!

  5. Hello Year 2. What a beautiful photograph; I love the colours reflected in the sea. I live in Flitwick, Bedfordshire, which is about as far away from the sea that you can be in England. Enjoy blogging.

  6. Hello! My name is Dannielle. I live in London and have two children. One of them is in year 1 and he loves school. I also work in children’s publishing so I get to read lots of lovely children’s books everyday. Enjoy blogging yr 2!

  7. Hello
I am a headteacher in a school in Ballywalter in Northern Ireland. The school is on a peninsula and right beside the sea. Try to find us on a map. Happy blogging

  8. Good morning Year 2. My name is DeputyMitchell and I am reading your blog from Chorley near Preston. Isn’t it great that you have had so many comments? What I am even more impressed with is the fact that, as a class, you have replied to them all!

I can’t wait to see what you do with your blog now that you know people from all over the world will be visiting.

All the best and I will be back to see your updates!

  9. Hi! I’m not a teacher, but I’m currently looking through this blog and reminiscing about old times. I miss Hall Park!
    All the best,
    Abby. C

    • Lovely to hear from you Abby, we’re always busy here at Hall Park! Watch this space for lots of Christmas play action soon, do you remember which performance you did in Year 2?

  10. Hello Year 2. I’m Nikki from Wolverhampton which is in the West Midlands. I used to be a primary school teacher but I now train teachers how to use Purple Mash which is lots of fun! It’s very exciting that lots of people are reading your blog from around the world! Happy blogging!

  11. Hello Year 2,
My name is Kathy and I love in New Zealand – which is possibly the farthest country from where you live, but we speak English here too despite the distance from the UK. We also share the same Queen, but we are an independent country.
New Zealand is so far away and so small, that sometimes we get left off some world maps! Look on your map to see if you can find us.

    • Thank you for your message Kathy, it is amazing to hear from somebody so far away! We have found where you are on the map and two of our little learners have relations in New Zealand so they were excited to share their knowledge.

  12. Hello year 2, I used to be a teacher in the UK but I am currently living in Japan. I am actually on a shinkansen (bullet train) right now on my way to Tokyo for the weekend. We have just passed mount Fuji, it’s very big! The bullet train is very fast. I am learning Japanese at the moment so I am doing my homework on the train. I look forward to hearing about your wonderful learning. Sayonara.
    Mrs Clare
